Grant Aid Annual Reports

This page explains how you can find out about the local voluntary and community sector organisations we fund through our annual Grant Aid budget. This funding symbolises our engagement with the local community. Its purpose is to:

  • mobilise volunteering and promote active citizenship
  • provide experience and training opportunities and create jobs
  • provide services and innovative responses to emerging social needs
  • reduce social exclusion and promote community well-being
  • enable organisations to draw in external funding and boost the local economy.

Each year we publish reports explaining who we funded, how much they received and what they did with the money. The reports also explain how the grant aid process is managed and provide information about the strategic context.  Our latest reports are listed below.

For reports covering earlier periods contact the Voluntary Sector Liaison Team at vslt@sheffield.gov.uk or telephone 273 4113.
