Funding News and Funding Forum

We work in partnership with South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau and other voluntary sector colleagues to support Funding News and Funding Forum.

Funding News

This is a free monthly newsletter promoting funding information for voluntary and community groups.  Funding News is written and published by South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau and can be downloaded from their website.  Alternatively if you would like a paper copy email vslt@sheffield.gov.uk.

Funding Forum

This is a meeting where speakers provide information about funding opportunities and good practice for voluntary and community groups. Meetings are open to everyone, attendance is free and there is no need to book – just turn up!

Meetings are usually held from 11am to 1.30pm at the Quaker Meeting House, St James Street, Sheffield (at the side of the Cathedral). Between 10.30am and 11am there is a chance to get a cup of tea and network with other voluntary and community groups. The Quaker Meeting House is wheelchair accessible and there is limited parking in the street outside. The room has a loop system.

Forthcoming events

Information about forthcoming events in 2008-2009 is published on the Event Sheffield website. Use the keywords search to find Funding Forum and details of the next meetings.
Notes of the meetings already held in 2008-09 are available in the downloadable documents at the bottom of this page.

Sheffield Funding Fair 2008

Every two years Funding Forum arranges a special Funding Fair. You can read about the Funding Fair that was organised in March 2008.

To find out about the activities of Funding Forum during the past year and copies of the presentations by the different speakers go to the Funding Forum Annual Report 2007-08.

If you would like to receive a copy of Funding News and details of Funding Forum meetings on a regular basis, ring 0114 2734113 or email your name and address to vslt@sheffield.gov.uk and we will add you to the mailing list.
