Welcome to Southey and Owlerton Area Regeneration (SOAR)– a community-led regeneration partnership in north Sheffield.
SOAR was set up in 1999 to help revitalize neighbourhoods in the north of Sheffield: Foxhill, Longley, Hillsborough, Winn Gardens, Parson Cross, Shirecliffe and Southey.
SOAR is involved in 4 key areas of work:
- Getting people involved
- Supporting the neighbourhoods
- Spending regeneration money
- Continuing regeneration activity into the future
