LASOS (Local Area Statistics Online Service)
LASOS is a new online service for you to use. South Yorkshire is one of the first county regions to develop this small area information website which provides you with joined up information from each of our districts.
You’ll find information about population, community safety, fire, health, education and economic data in South Yorkshire. Local Area Agreement targets are also available via LASOS, along with how well we're doing to meet those targets.

Using LASOS
You can use the system to find key facts mapped by neighbourhood by entering in a postcode on the LASOS website.
If you want more in-depth information or to generate graphs, charts and reports about a specific area you'll need to register on the site. More data sets will be added over the next few months to provide a more comprehensive spread of common data sets for South Yorkshire.

- get easy access to information about neighbourhoods, wards and administrative areas such as Community Assemblies
- see how those neighbourhoods are doing in comparison with others in the same town or across South Yorkshire
- use this information to help make more informed assessments about performance and decisions about service improvements and investments needed
- use this information and the learning from this project to improve the efficiency of public services.
