Policy Support Team
The Policy Support Team provides a policy and information service to partnership managers, the Neighbourhood Renewal and Partnership Service and the wider Council. The team contributes to the development of the partnership strategies and work towards making improvements in how the Service communicates.
The team provides data and analysis that we and our partners use to make decisions, plan action and improve performance. The main work areas of the team are:
- Managing the Local Area Statistics Online Service (LASOS)
- Crime and disorder analysis, including anti-social behaviour
- Monitoring racist incidents and community cohesion and supporting subsequent decisions
- Our Compact with the voluntary and community sector
- Coordinating work towards achieving Charter Mark status for the service and developing our customer focus
