Local Strategic Partnership Managers Team

The team provides support to the Sheffield First family, managing the following partnerships:

  • Health and Well-being
  • Inclusive and Cosmopolitan City
  • Safer Communities
  • Successful Neighbourhoods

The Sheffield First family of partnerships brings together public, private, voluntary, community and faith sectors to ensure Sheffield is a successful and inclusive city.  The team supports the partnerships to develop and implement major physical and community renewal programmes, which ensure strong community engagement and improve services, particularly in the most disadvantaged areas of the city.

The Health and Well-being Partnership focus on protecting, supporting and improving the health, independence and well-being of adults and on reducing inequalities in health between communities in Sheffield.  The Partnership leads the delivery of the Healthier Communities and Older People Block of the Local Area Agreement (LAA), Sheffield's involvement in the 'World Health Organisation Healthy City Program' and the development of the Sheffield Health Compact.

The Inclusive and Cosmopolitan City Partnership is just about to publish a revised inclusion strategy for the city.

The Safer Communities Partnership are jointly leading on the Safer Stronger Communities block (also know as the Successful Neighbourhoods block) of the Local Area Agreement (LAA) with the Successful Neighbourhoods Partnership and have a Safer Communities Strategy.  The strategy aims to deliver improvements in crime, substance misuse, anti-social behaviour and fear of crime especially in the city centre and neighbourhoods targeted through the Safer Neighbourhood Area (SNA) initiative.

As outlined the Successful Neighbourhoods Partnership jointly leads on the LAA, and has a particular focus on major regeneration programmes to transform neighbourhoods and housing in the most deprived areas of the city and initiatives to strengthen community engagement and improve services in those areas.
