Landlords For Excellence Course

 

This course is run in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. This extremely successful training programme is available, free of charge, to all landlords currently owning and renting property in the Sheffield Council Tax area. 

 

 

 

 

The course content is pitched at residential landlords already having experience in the private rented market, who want to hone their skills to be successful, professional and keep up to date in their business. It is suitable for landlords with any number of properties, but at least one property must be in the Sheffield Council Tax area.

 

We regret to say that the course is not suitable for anyone who has no experience of private renting as a landlord, nor to anyone who does not let residential property, for example, if your sole rental area is purpose built halls of residence.

Satisfactory completion of the programme leads to achieving the Landlords for Excellence Mark. This will be used by various agencies when promoting the properties.

The following courses will (provisionally) be in September 2009 and January 2010. Confirmation of these dates will be published on this webpage when available.   

 

The courses run one evening a week, on a Tuesday, 6.00pm to 8.30pm for a 10 week period. They are run from the city centre campus of Sheffield Hallam University.
