Landlords for Excellence course
Run in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University, this extremely successful training programme is available to all landlords free of charge.
The programme is suitable for residential landlords, with any number of properties, who want to be successful, professional and up to date in their business.
Some of the subjects covered include:
- Managing the property
- Marketing techniques
- Risk assessments
- Planning and development
- Tenancy agreements
- Managing tenants
Satisfactory completion of the programme leads to achieving the Landlords for Excellence Mark. This will be used by various agencies when promoting the properties.
The first course ran for 10 weeks from January 2005 and we are now taking names for the next course due to begin in September 2008.
The following course will be held in January 2009.
They run one evening a week, on a Tuesday, 6.00pm to 8.30pm for a 10 week period. They are run from the city centre campus of Sheffield Hallam University.
