Neighbourhood Investment Project (NIP)
This project is delivered as part of the Neighbourhood Investment Programme by Sheffield Homes and the Partnering contractor, to the former Council estates in both the North and South. Both public and private former council properties are included.
The works include:
- Front boundary enhancement
- Creation of parking areas within the boundary of the property
Current projects
North schemes are close to completion in Parson Cross, Shirecliffe, Southey, Flower, Stubbin and Brushes estates following the Decent Homes programme
South schemes are close to completion in Arbourthorne
Funding for this programme is from Housing Market Renewal, which is secured on a 2-year cycle.
Future programmes
Delivery of this project will continue in both North and South areas, following the Decent Homes Programme and subject to secured funding.
