It is important for us to have these strategies in place, and for us to regularly update what we are doing, to ensure a high quality and good choice of housing is available, supported by excellent services.
This is key to achieving our objective of creating attractive, successful neighbourhoods and stronger communities.

Sheffield City Council has recently introduced a new Environmentally Sustainable Housing Strategy that aims to increase the sustainability of new housing in the city. This strategy will be implemented in all housing on Housing Market Renewal (HMR) sites. (84 KB)
