Housing Market Assessment 2007

Sheffield's Housing Market Assessment

In 2007 we commissioned consultants to undertake a Housing Market Assessment (HMA) for Sheffield. The HMA was a large piece of research that gathered and analysed information about the housing market in Sheffield. This keeps us informed about local housing market conditions, and provides evidence for our housing policies.

Government recommends that all Local Authorities undertake a HMA within their local housing market, and our HMA was undertaken in line with the Strategic Housing Market Assessments guidance issued by Government.

The full HMA report, and a summary of its key findings, are available for viewing and downloading at the bottom of this page

If you would like further information about the HMA please contact Jim Uttley, Policy Officer in the Housing Strategy and Policy Team, on 0114 2736396, or email him at james.uttley@sheffield.gov.uk
