Housing Associations

Housing Associations are independent, non-profit making organisations, funded by the Homes and Communities Agency (the government body responsible for supporting social housing). There are around 15 major housing associations operating in Sheffield and a number of other smaller ones. Between them they own around 15,000 properties.
Each housing association operates its own application process and must be applied to individually.

For further information on Housing Association accommodation, and for a downloadable list of the Associations that currently operate in Sheffield see the Housing Options section of this website.
