South East Community Assembly - Market Street, Woodhouse, Mosborough Old Village and St Mary's Beighton

Our area

 
The South East Community Assembly covers the four wards of Woodhouse, Birley, Beighton and Mosborough. It's made up of the neighbourhoods of:
 
  • Handsworth
  • Woodhouse
  • Birley
  • Basegreen
  • Charnock
  • Hackenthorpe
  • Beighton
  • Sothall
  • Owlthorpe
  • Waterthorpe
  • Westfield
  • Halfway
  • Mosborough
 
The Assembly covers a population of approximately 70,000 people and is a mix of long established communities and a number of modern estates with areas bordering Rotherham and North East Derbyshire.
 

Meet the team

 
The Chair of South East Community Assembly is Councillor Chris Rosling-Josephs and the Deputy Chair is Councillor David Barker.
 
Supporting Councillors Rosling-Josephs and Barker is a team of officers, who are available to help you and give you information about how Community Assemblies work.
 
  • Dave Luck, Community Assembly Manager, has overall responsibility for assembly activities.
  • Lynne Richardson, Planning and Performance Officer, is in charge of developing a community plan and working to make sure that services meet local needs.
  • Mick Fellowes, Community Assembly Officer, is responsible for involving local people in the work of the Assembly.
  • Sara Green, Safer Neighbourhood Officer, works closely with the Police to deal with issues of crime and anti-social behaviour.
  • Alicia Staton, Team Support Officer, provides administrative support to the team.
