Our area
The Central Community Assembly covers the four wards of Hillsborough, Walkley, Broomhill and Central. It includes the city centre, inner urban and suburban areas and covers the communities of:
- Sharrow
- Broomhall
- Broomhill
- Part of Endcliffe
- Crookesmoor
- Upperthorpe
- Netherthorpe
- Kelham Island
- Langsett
- Walkley
- Hillsborough
- Wisewood
- Wadsley
- Winn Gardens
Meet the team
The Chair of the Central Community Assembly is Councillor Diane Leek and the Deputy Chair is Councillor Penny Baker.
Supporting the work of the assembly is a team of officers, who are available to help you and give you information about how Community Assemblies work.
- Rebecca Maddox, Community Assembly Manager, who will have overall responsibility for Assembly activities.
- Andy Shallice, Planning and Performance Officer, who will help to develop a community plan and make sure that services are adapted to meet local need needs.
- Jane Bullimore & Naomi Hinch, Assembly Officer's, who will ensure good communication and involvement with local residents and groups.
- Jackie Breedon, Team Support Officer, who will provide administrative support to the team.

Meetings and events
We are holding ‘You Say’ and ‘You Choose’ sessions to find out more about your views and what you want for your community.
Central Community Assembly Business Meeting
Thursday 25th March - 6pm to 8pm at the Quaker Meeting House, 10 St James Street, Sheffield, S1 2EW.
