Other people who live in your home may affect the amount of Housing and Council Tax Benefit we give you.
When you fill in a benefit claim form, we ask you various questions about the people who live with you. We call these people your Partner, your Dependants or your Non-dependants.
One of the most important ways in which they can affect the benefit we can give you is when their circumstances change. It is therefore really important that you tell us straight away of any changes to their income, work status, address or relationship to you.
