Environment

• To create an attractive, usable and well-managed landscape across the Panel Area.

• To increase levels of physical activity amongst all age groups and across the whole area.

• To embed the Green Estate Transformational Project in the Parks and Countryside Service

• To continue to support the provision of “Lengsthmen” in Woodthorpe and Wybourn neighbourhoods

Community Safety

• To ensure substantial and lasting improvements in Community Safety

• To support the Park Hill Community through a period of transition

• To design car and motorbike crime out of local green spaces

• To increase the level of Community Involvement with the Neighbourhood Action Group structure and community safety Issues

Children and Young People

• To build on the success of the South East Sheffield Education Action Zone, in respect of the School Improvement & Worklessness Agendas.

• To develop improved links between the new Springs/Park Academy and the communities it serves.

• To develop improved Youth Services based on a range of providers.

Health and Wellbeing

• To develop an effective local programme to promote Health and Wellbeing

• To create a safer, happier and more inclusive community

Work and Skills

• To develop an effective local programme to tackle unemployment

Supporting Communities

• To maintain Community Cohesion by supporting Neighbourhood Forums across the area

• To develop the effectiveness of the Area Panel.
