Site Locations:

When at the recycling centres please follow the instructions of the site supervisors who will direct you to the correct container for your waste.

Try to time your visit for a weekday morning to avoid the busiest periods. Weekends, afternoons and Bank Holidays can be very busy so you may experience delays.

Vans, Pick ups and Trailers

Sheffield’s five Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) are provided for Sheffield householders, to dispose of waste from their own home.

If you wish to visit any Household Waste recycling Centre in Sheffield using a van or trailer, you will need to book in prior to your visit to help manage traffic and waste on site. To do this, please contact Veolia on 2734567.

From 11 January 2010 a vehicle permit system will be in operation at these sites to prevent the illegal disposal of trade waste.

A permit cannot be issued for these types of vehicle.

If the only vehicle in your household is a van or you wish to bring a trailer on site, you can apply for a permit. It’s easy to apply for a permit, just contact Veolia Environmental Services .  If your application is successful, you will receive a permit for 12 visits to your nominated site.
