Sheffield in Bloom
Sheffield in Bloom is the name we see each year around the city for Sheffield’s bid to keep the city environmentally attractive, with floral displays and good environmental management.
Sheffield in Bloom covers three different levels of the ‘In Bloom’ group of competitions:
- Yorkshire in Bloom
- Entente Florale (Europe in Bloom)
The competitions help to:
- Promote Sheffield nationally
- Involve local people and businesses in their community
- Improve neighbourhoods
Together, all of this helps to make the city a more attractive place to live, work in and visit.
Sheffield has a fantastic history of success in all levels of the competitions:
- 2003 Yorkshire in Bloom - Gold
- 2004 Britain in Bloom - Silver Gilt
- 2005 Entente Florale - Gold
- 2006 Supporting local entries
- 2007 Yorkshire in Bloom - Gold
- 2008 Britain in Bloom - Gold
