Hygiene Scores on the Doors

Three Stars
If you've ever wondered how clean your local food business is, you can now find out online or via your mobile phone.  The Scores on the doors website, publishes the result of our own and other local authority food hygiene inspection ratings.

5 stars is excellent and 0 stars means that major improvements are required. Scores are based on standards of food hygiene management, practices, structure and cleanliness. Businesses who achieve 3 stars and above receive a certificate to display.

Those that fail hygiene standards will not receive a certificate but the inspection rating will be listed on the website. Those achieving 0 and 1 stars will be subject to follow up or enforcement action but will not be re-rated until the next programmed visit.

Please note this replaces our old 'Food Hygiene Award' Scheme. A few of these are still valid and are listed below.
