Mould Growth on Chopping Board
Chopping boards are a food contact surface. These can be easily worn and soon become mouldy if not replaced on a regular basis. This board was being used for salad vegetables (the wrong colour board) by the owner of a takeaway. It was seized and later used as evidence by officers in a prosecution against a takeaway owner for several food hygiene offences.
