Supply Teaching
SESSA is a non-profit-making, self-financing supply agency dedicated to ensuring the provision of appropriate, trained and motivated supply staff.
SESSA was established in September 2001 within Children and Young People's Human Resources, with the aim of assisting schools and other clients in their drive for continuous improvement and raising standards by operating in partnership with schools and LEA officers.
The agency underpins the recruitment and retention strategy and follows strict recruitment processes to ensure that all staff placed through SESSA have undergone all the necessary pre-recruitment checks applicable for the post they are fulfilling. The service provided complies with the DfES Quality Mark Standards for supply agencies, which was conferred on the agency in 2004, and again in 2005.
