Customer Standards

  • We aim to provide an excellent service to all our customers, including pupils, parents and families and schools
  • Customers can expect a quick response from our staff, in line with Sheffield City Council standards
  • Our goal is to help prevent exclusion from school, and to achieve reintegration for those out of school. Our most recent figures show that:

    • 89% of pupils return successfully to school.
    • Of these, 78% returned to mainstream schools and 22% to special schools
    • 92% of reintegrated pupils sustained their successful return

    • 100% of pupils improved their reading age.
  • We send questionnaires each year to parents/carers and schools in order to get their views on our service. We also invite comments from visitors to the centre. We take action to improve our service in line with comments, and  respond personally to complaints
In 2006-07, 100% of parents/carers said that our staff supported them in  addressing their  child's educational and behavioural needs. 85% felt that their child's behaviour had improved during their placement. 100% of parents/carers commented favourably on our Open Day. 92% of schools described our service as outstanding or good.
