Sheffield - where everyone matters

C'mon Everybody

C'mon Everybody is part of the Children and Young People's Directorate and runs a range of free courses for parents and children, to promote parenting skills and children's social and emotional competence.

Established in 1989, the C’mon Everybody team runs a variety of family support projects, providing a flexible service aimed at supporting the individual needs of families.

By attending a range of courses and groups sessions, parents will be better equipped to:

  • Help their child to succeed
  • Help their child to control his/her temper
  • Help their child to get on better with others

Topics covered include:

  • How children learn through play
  • How to praise and reward
  • How to set effective limits
  • How to handle bad behaviour

All courses are completely free of charge and are run by experienced professional staff with backgrounds in social work and/or education. Childcare and refreshments are also available.
