Complaints, Comments and Compliments
We welcome and encourage both positive and negative feedback, as it tells us how we are doing.
- From 1 January 2008, to 30 September 2008, Early Years Education and Childcare Service (EYECS) and have logged a total of 43 complaints. Four of these complaints were referred to Ofsted within recommended timescales.
- In September 2008, 5 complaints were received regarding EYECS policies, e.g. Admissions Policy and 1 complaint regarding EYECS services.
- We also received four comments on our Services and Polices, two of which were regarding Childcare Sufficiency.
- 100% of complaints were responded to within 28 days in accordance with our customer standards.
- In the same period we have received 73 compliments from a mixture of internal and external customers, thanking EYECS staff and Children’s Centre staff for their hard work and support.
- 10 Compliments were received by EYECS and Children’s Centre staff in September 2008, including thanks from parents of children attending Children’s Centre activities.
