Mobile Caretaking
A Caretaking Service is available to provide appropriate, trained and motivated supply caretakers to education establishments.
Caretakers are available between the hours of 06.00 and 22.00.
Caretakers receive training on:
- Health and Safety
- Risk Assessment
- General premises management
- Cleaning methods and products
- Child Protection
- Working at Height
- Manual Handling
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
All Caretakers have enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) clearance. They wear a uniform and have sufficient personal protective equipment to enable them to carry out routine Caretaker tasks.
Sites are visited within 48 hours of a Caretaker placement to go through an induction and are revisited a minimum of every 10 working days to ensure customer satisfaction and continued staff support.
