Term dates are set by the Children & Young People's Directorate approximately 18 months prior to the start of the following academic year in September. The holidays are set now until July 2010.

Please note that each school organises five training and development days which are determined by the school. Information on the school training days academic year 2008-2009 are now available as a downloadable document.
