Sheffield Arts Education Core Services to Schools

Achieving Creative Education (ACE)

These pages have details of this year's continuing professional development programme (CPD). After the success of last year's programme run in conjunction with Creative Partnerships we hope to continue the good work started and maintain the enthusiasm of those attending our training sessions.

Sheffield Arts Education (SAE) have a commitment to schools to provide high quality CPD training for leaders, teachers and support staff. This year’s programme will focus on the development of creativity in education and the growth of competency based learning. Training sessions will encompass the best of international practice and will be led by regional, national and international speakers.

Due to the interest in key philosophies such as De Bono thinking skills, Philosophy for children and the Reggio Emilia approach we will be running more sessions on these themes this year.
