Carton of Semi Skimmed School Milk

Milk is good for healthy teeth and bones!

 
All primary school children in Sheffield aged between 5-11 years are entitled to subsidised School milk at a cost of 12p for a 1/3 pint (189 ml) carton of Semi-Skimmed or Whole Fluoridated milk.
 
From January 2006 Primary School pupils over the age of 5 who are eligible for Free School Meals are also eligible for free milk.

Semi- Skimmed has been introduced in response to DfES legislation, which recommends milk in Schools be Semi skimmed. Semi skimmed milk constitutes 78% of all milk consumed nationally.
