Examination charges

 
No charge is made when a school enters a pupil for a prescribed exam. A prescribed exam means one they have been prepared for by the school.
 
Charges can be made for:
 
  • exams where a pupil takes an exam they have not been prepared for by the school, e.g. they have had a private tutor.
  • resits where no additional preparation has been given since the exam.
  • exams not on the prescribed list. The school should be able to provide a this list 
  • a pupil failing to fulfil all the exam requirements i.e. fails to turn up for any of the paper.
