Conciliation Services
Within Sheffield City Council there are currently two impartial conciliation services, the Advice and Conciliation Service and the Parent Partnership Service. Whilst both services aim to provide impartial information, advice and support to parents of children within Sheffield schools, the focus of the Parent Partnership Service is parents of children with special educational needs.
As well as providing information and advice over the phone or in person, a range of further information is available together with a small library of leaflets, books, audio and video tapes available for parents and professionals to loan.
