We are always pleased to hear about any comments or feedback which will help us improve the service that we provide. Comments, compliments, suggestions or complaints can be sent to us by one of the following methods:-

"You Said ... We Did ..."
As a result of some of the comments and feedback which you have given us over the years we have made the following changes to our service:
- Our intial contact letter which we sent to parents/carers did not include who in the team was dealing with the request, making it difficult for parents to know who to contact. We made sure that all our letters now include the name of the officer dealing with the enquiry.
- We found that during some home visits due to English being the second language officers were unable to communicate with parents/carers. We now have access to a 24hr telephone interpreting service which we access via mobiles whilst on home visits. We have found this provides a more efficient service to our clients.
- Schools told us that they required more information on pupils who were being admitted to them. We developed an Education & intial home profile in response to this feedback, which we now complete for admissions. This gives schools vital background information to help ensure a speedy admission of some of our more vulnerable children.
