C'mon Everybody
C'mon Everybody is part of the Children and Young People's Directorate and runs a range of free courses for parents and children, to promote parenting skills and children's social and emotional competence.
Established in 1989, the C’mon Everybody team runs a variety of family support projects, providing a flexible service aimed at supporting the individual needs of families.
Established in 1989, the C’mon Everybody team runs a variety of family support projects, providing a flexible service aimed at supporting the individual needs of families.
By attending a range of courses and groups sessions, parents will be better equipped to:
- Help their child to succeed
- Help their child to control his/her temper
- Help their child to get on better with others
Topics covered include:
- How children learn through play
- How to praise and reward
- How to set effective limits
- How to handle bad behaviour
All courses are completely free of charge and are run by experienced professional staff with backgrounds in social work and/or education. Childcare and refreshments are also available.
