Fletcher Mediation Service

If you are not in agreement with your school or the Children & Young People's Directorate (CYPD), Special Educational Needs team (SEN), about how to meet your child's special educational needs you should first talk to your school or the SEN team.

If you still cannot agree, you should get in touch with your Parent Partnership service who will give you free impartial advice.  Every child is different;  schools and Local Authorities have a range of resources to meet different learning difficulties and disabilities.

If, having done all of that, your problem is still unresolved an independent mediation service may be appropriate.
