Pupil Admission Customer Charter
Pupil Admissions is a Team which is dedicated to providing the best possible service for all its customers. Pupil Admissions are here to help, offer support guidance and assistance through every step of the application and allocation process, this includes application for:
Primary School
Junior School
Secondary School and
Free Home to School Transport.
As a customer if you contact Pupil Admissions the team will:
- Answer your call within 4 rings.
- Give their name when answering the telephone.
- Wear a name badge to identify who we are
- Be polite and courteous.
- Treat you fairly and sensitively and in confidence
- Respond to telephone messages within 1 working day.
- Respond to letters within 10 working days of receipt (20 for more
complex letters)
- Acknowledge e-mail queries within 5 working days of receipt.
- Acknowledge applications to enter Primary, Junior and Secondary School within 21 working days of receiving the application.
- Process mid-term school applications within 10 working days of receipt.
- Process Home to School Transport applications within 10 days of receipt.
During busy periods there may be occasions when you cannot get through on the telephone straight away, this will be due to high levels of calls.
The days and weeks following allocations are Pupil Admissions busiest times.

Primary Admissions April and May
Secondary Admissions March and April
