Overview of What's Covered on this Site
This site provides information about the type of financial help that the Government provides for students whilst they are in higher education at university or college. It also tells you how and when to apply for support.
Whilst in higher education, your expenses will fall broadly into two categories:-
1. Tuition fees for the course;
2. Your own living expenses.
There is a range of grants, loans and bursaries to help you with these expenses.
To avoid duplication, we have incorporated links to the Directgov website for higher education students.
You will also find information on this site for part-time students and students in further education.
