Post-16 Education and Training in Sheffield
Further Education
The main provider of Further Education is the Sheffield College which is organised around three main units:
· Castle College
· Hillsborough College
· Norton College
These centres all offer a wide range of education and training programmes which can be accessed via college publicity, the hotline 2602600 and the college website.
Sixth Forms
Seven schools in Sheffield operate sixth forms; All Saints, High Storrs, King Edwards, King Ecgberts, Notre Dame, Tapton, Silverdale. These schools offer Advanced Level programmes and some vocational programmes.
Longley Park Sixth Form College serves the needs of post-16 students in the North East of Sheffield.

Work Based Learning
A wide range of training providers run Foundation Apprenticeships and Modern Apprenticeships which deliver training programmes which include work placements with employers.
