The Lifelong Learning and Skills Service has 4 main training centres where the majority of our training programmes take place.

 

 

Red Tape Studios on Shoreham Street is the North's premier music school. With an excellent reputation within the music industry, Red Tape Studios combines state of the art equipment with extensive knowledge to provide first class training to anyone with aspirations to work in music.

The Administration and IT Centre offers a wide range of training in creative, technical and office I.T courses. Specialising in training to the post  16 age group, it also offers in house corporate training to external companies as well as internally to Council employees.

Course fees vary according to the type of course and individual circumstances. Most courses are free for people on income related benefits and 16-18 year olds.  Information on fees is available from our Training Centres.
