Online Governor Training

The Governor Support Team are piloting an online training package for Governors produced by Governors E-Learning (GEL) for the year 2008-09.  We have bought the rights for all Governors of Sheffield schools who subscribe to the Governor Training Package to access this training for free.

 

 

 

 

The online training package is intended to provide Governors with an opportunity to access training more easily from their homes, offices or schools.  View or download the testimonials from Governors on the GEL online training at the bottom of the page.

 

To access the training package, you first need to register on the Governors E-Learning (GEL) website.  When you register, we will be asked to verify your status as a Governor eligible to access the training.  GEL will then send you a members password and you can login and begin your training.  If you have not received your password within 5 working days, please Contact the Governor Support Team.

 

Yes.  The cost for Governing Bodies who do not buy into the Governor Training Package, but who wish to access the online training, is half the cost of the Governor Training Package subscription.  Governors wishing to access this training, but whose school does not subscribe, should contact their Chair of Governors or Training Co-ordinator Governor.  Governing Bodies who wish to purchase access to the online training package, or subscribe to the annual Governor Training Package, should Contact the Governor Support Team.
