Leadership Development and Succession Planning

A Model Policy on Leadership Development and Succession Planning was discussed with Governors in the Summer Term 2007.  We hope that all Governing Bodies will adopt the Policy, which can be downloaded from the bottom of the page.

 

 

The National College for School Leadership (NCSL) has published The Importance of Succession Planning, a useful guidance document on the recruitment of Headteachers and an interactive guide for Governors.
