Sheffield Association of School Governing Bodies

We are pleased to work in partnership with the independent Sheffield Association of School Governing Bodies (SASGB).  SASGB is affiliated to the National Governors' Association and the majority of Governing Bodies in Sheffield are members of SASGB.

 

As well as producing its own termly newsletter for Sheffield's School Governors, SASGB meets twice termly with the Executive Director of Children and Young People's Services to discuss issues raised by Governing Bodies across the city. 

SASGB members serve on a number of working groups to represent the views of Governing Bodies in Sheffield and play a key role in organising the termly Governors' briefings by the Executive Director.  Summaries and handouts from previous briefings can be found by following this link to the Executive Director's Briefing Page, and then selecting the date of the Briefing you are interested in from the menu on the left.
