Financial Management Standard in Schools

All maintained secondary schools will be expected to meet the Financial Management Standard in Schools by March 2007.  Thereafter Local Authorities will be able to decide which primary schools are prioritised for assessment with a view to 40% meeting the standard by March 2008 and all schools meeting the standard by March 2010.
