Single Person Discount

The full charge for Council Tax assumes that there are at least two adults (18 years and over) living in a property.

If a property is occupied by only one adult, they may be entitled to a 25% reduction.

If you live on your own, or you live with children and you are the only adult, please complete the form below.

You must contact us at Council Tax immediately if another adult moves into the property, or any child living in the property reaches the age of 18. You can also use the on-line form to cancel your discount

You will find your eight digit account reference number on your Council Tax bill.
(This number will start with 7 or 8)

If you have recently moved into your new home, this will be your occupation start date
