Refund My Council Tax

If your Council Tax account is in credit, you can claim a refund below.

 

We will only refund your credit, if you do not owe any further amounts of Council Tax to the Council. For example, if you move home we will charge you up to the day you leave. If you move to another address in Sheffield, we will transfer any credit to your new account. But if you have left the city and you have overpaid, we will refund your overpayment.

 

We will only refund overpayments by cheque.
