Farmers' and Specialist Markets
Sheffield Markets will be hosting a programme of specialist markets in 2008, ranging from Continental and Farmers' Markets to Craft markets. We will also be providing specialist markets at many city centre events, such as Fright Night.
Farmers' Markets:
At the farmers' markets you can buy fresh produce from local farmers. These monthly markets are held on Barkers Pool (in between John Lewis & Sheffield City Hall).
We have some new dates for the latter part of 2008 as we are moving the Farmers Market to trade on the 4th Thursday of the month from August. The dates are detailed below and the trading times are 9am - 4:30pm
2008 dates:
- Thursday 28th August
- Thursday 25th September
- Thursday 23rd October
- Thursday 27th November
- Thursday 18th December
Continental Markets:
At these markets you can buy a range of products, gifts and food from around Europe. These markets are held on Fargate.

- Thursday 30th October to Sunday 2nd November
Craft Markets:
24th & 25th August : Sheffield Fayre Craft Market, Norfolk Park, Sheffield
6th & 7th September : Art in the Gardens Craft Market, Botanical Gardens, Sheffield
24th - 26th October : Autumn Craft Market / Fright Night, Fargate, Sheffield City Centre
14th - 16th November : City Lights Craft Market, Fargate, Sheffield City Centre
11th - 14th December : Christmas Market, Fargate, Sheffield City Centre
