Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles

 

Our Taxi and Private Hire Licensing Section provides both administrative and statutory services as the Licensing Authority.

 

We licence and regulate, Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers, Hackney Carriage Vehicles, Private Hire Vehicles (up to eight passenger seats) and Private Hire Operators.

 

 

 

We are based at the rear of the Town Hall, Norfolk Street entrance. The reception area is open from Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
