Statement of Licensing Policy - Licensing Act 2003
The Licensing Act 2003 requires a licensing authority to prepare and publish a statement of its licensing policy every three years.
The policy is a statement of the principles that it proposes to apply when exercising its functions under the Licensing Act 2003.
The policy must be kept under review and the licensing authority must make such revisions as it considers appropriate.
Sheffield City Council completed its 3-yearly review of the Statement of Licensing Policy following a detailed consultation in April 2007 and the document was passed on 5th December 2007. The Policy is attached to download below.
