Standing Orders

To ensure fair competition and achieve value for money, all contracts over £25,000 are competitively tendered.  The only exception to this is where a reason not to competitively tender for a contract has been agreed and financial regulations have been waived. 

 

For contracts under £25,000 and over £1,000, at least 3 written quotes must be obtained, however the principle of competition still applies.
