The over £25k list is for contractors who are involved in large scale building and engineering works in the following areas:
- Construction, demolition and other building work, including restoration
- Electrical and mechanical services
- Asbestos surveys and removal
- Landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Maintenance and repair services, including door and window fitting
- Highways and drainage work
Our Approved List for works over £25k is managed through ConstructionLine - the largest UK database of pre-qualified suppliers in the construction industry.
Suppliers who wish to be invited to tender for building and engineering contracts with us that are over the value of £25k, should visit the ConstructionLine website, and complete the application process.
Suppliers who register their pre-qualification details with ConstructionLine to do business with us will also benefit from satisfying the PQQ requirements of over 8,000 other private and public sector buyers.
Once suppliers have registered successfully through ConstructionLine, they will still be required to submit tenders for any available contracts.
Tenders for Building and Civil Engineering Works are managed by Design and Project Management, who will use the Approved List to identify and invite suitable organisations to tender for contracts.
