We offer a reference and information service covering a wide range of subjects.
Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will answer your enquiries in person at the counter, over the telephone, by letter or email.
We can help you navigate your way through the maze of electronic and printed sources to find the information you need, whether you want to solve that crossword clue, answer a quiz question, research for a project or need help with your homework.
Not all the stock can be displayed on the open shelves. Approximately half a million volumes are stored outside the department and are available on request. Some material is available for loan.
